A heartfelt “thank you” to all of you for your friendship, collaboration and patronage. 2013 was an exciting year for Intelligist Group and I owe a great deal of it to the incredible people with whom I connect on a daily basis.
There were two big milestones for me this year:
Corporate Narratives – In conjunction with Starlight Runner Entertainment we launched a framework for not only how businesses should tell stories, but how they communicate with their entire ecosystem. I am so pleased that Fred McClimans joined Intelligist Group to help in this effort. And special thanks to Paul Greenberg for giving me a platform to discuss it. Jeff Gomez and I laid out the framework in The Narrative Is The Thing: The Art of Corporate Storytelling. Stay tuned. There’s more to come!
Freshdesk – After so many years of business ownership and independent consulting I have taken the plunge back into the world of employment. In June I was hired by SaaS customer service startup Freshdesk as their Director of Community Outreach. It’s a dream job. My role is to write and speak about customer service and related trends, and network with the Freshdesk ecosystem of customers, colleagues, analysts and journalists to raise awareness and, ultimately, help grow the business. Customer service has always been a topic close to my heart (you can see on the Intelligist Blog) so this is a natural fit for me. Checkout out my 5 Trends In Customer Service for 2014.
